The Lasso of truth is a weapon used by the DC Comics super-heroine Wonder Woman. It was forged by the Gods. The Lasso forces anyone held by it to tell and understand the absolute truth. (They say even Hercules cannot overcome it.)

Lasso of truth,  that is something which all (wonder) women have. Yeah, that is true in non-fictional world too. And I also believe it to be very metaphoric. I have met such (wonder) woman who used their lasso of truth and I spoke the truth by myself (even though I was trying to stop myself from blurting out the matter.)

“Maybe...you'll fall in love with me all over again."

"Yes. I want to ruin you."
"Good," I said. "That's what I want too.”
