In itself, the insight is not new. The earliest records, to my knowledge, date back some 2500 years or more... the recognition ATMAN = BRAHMAN (the personal self equals the omnipresent, all-comprehending eternal self) was in Indian thought considered, far from being blasphemous, to represent the quintessence of deepest insight into the happenings of the world. The striving of all the scholars of Vedanta was after having learnt to pronounce with their lips, really assimilate in their minds this grandest of all thoughts.
Again, the mystics of many centuries, independently, yet in perfect harmony with each other (somewhat like the particles in an ideal gas) have described, each of them, the unique experience of his or her life in terms that can be condensed in the phrase: DEUS FACTUS SUM (I have become God).
To Western ideology, the thought has remained a stranger... in spite of those true lovers who, as they look into each other's eyes, become aware that their thought and their joy are numerically one, not merely similar or identical...

Native American Prayer
Look To The Earth
....Kenneth Meadows
Look to the Earth And to the Skies The Sun, the Moon, and to the Stars You who would be wise.
For they contain the full measure of man The height, the breadth, the depth, the span
Of his entirety.
Look to the Earth And to the Skies And watch them turn Like pages of a holy book
But one untouched by human hand You who would be wise.
Look to the Earth And to the Skies For in that which can be seen Without Can true knowledge come
Of unseen mysteries that lie Within To you who would be wise.
Look to the Earth And to the Skies In Spring and Summer, Winter and in the Fall.
Watch life begin, unfold, then fade and die To rise anew Time and again for Time Untold
You who would be wise.
Look to the Earth And to the Skies And in your looking, learn this mystery:
That you who look to the Earth And to the Skies
Shall be given eyes to see Shall be given eyes
To make you wise Eternally.

I Hear the Plunging Music
My find of the day : Yoshida Brothers
The Yoshida Kyōdai (吉田兄弟) are Japanese musicians known for fusion of the rapid and percussive Tsugaru-jamisen style along with Western and other regional musical influences. (Tsugaru-jamisen is a traditional Japanese music style which originated in northern Japan.) Yoshida brothers have released several albums under the Domo Records.
They debuted in 1999 in Japan as a duo playing the shamisen. Their first album sold over 100,000 copies and made them minor celebrities in Japan, a fact that surprised the Yoshida Brothers themselves. They have since attracted an international audience.

Anti SOPA Protest
GoDaddy bows down to boycott, now it says that they are against SOPA. Google, Amazon, Facebook and twitter might go ahead with 'simultaneous blackouts' to make people get a feel of the seriousness and gravity of the effect this bill would have over free/open culture.

Backronym?
Backronym is a word which has been "made into an acronym", even though it was not originally formed from one.
A backronym or bacronym is a phrase constructed purposely, such that an acronym can be formed to a specific desired word. Backronyms may be invented with serious or humorous intent, or may be a type of false or folk etymology.
Examples:
1) 'What does “SOS” stand for? Nothing. The letters “SOS” are an international distress signal, especially by ships and aircraft … Many believe “SOS” signifies “Save Our Ship” or “Save Our Souls”. However, these phrases were a later development, most likely to help remember the correct letters — a bacronym.'
2) RAP: Rhythmically Aggressive Poetry
